Barcelona | On Film | Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

A few weeks ago, we had the chance to take a week to escape and explore Barcelona.
Its easily one of my new favorite cities. The food, the drinks and the people are all top class. With so much history, its easy to get lost in the sides streets and alleyways, discovering some extremely good coffee and hipsterism.

I’d go back every day if I could and I would.

Here’s some film captures that I just got back from the lab.
All photos shot with a Contax G-1 on Portra 400 or Tri-X 400.

New York Wedding Photographer | On Film

I’ve had the opportunity to be a New York Wedding Photographer a few times. But in April I had the opportunity to travel to New York purely for fun with a handful of friends and my wife and it was a treat. Its nice to get to travel when its not connected to work. Its a great chance to recharge.
We for sure as hell avoided Times Square, but we braved the Top of the Rock and it was a really awesome experience, I’d definitely recommend it.

Here’s some photos I shot while exploring the city, all shot on film.

Shot with a Contax G1 on Tri-X 400 and some expired film.

Paris Wedding Photographer

some film captures from about a month ago.
tromping and hopping around paris for ten days was just what the dr [pepper] ordered after an insane year of constant shooting and hanging out with some of the coolest people in the world [my clients].

Santa Cruz / Big Sur Road Trip {Film}

shooting film when i’m not working has been one of the best things i ever could have done this summer. its rejuvenated me — woken me up. its made me excited about photography again.

for a few months i was extremely stagnant with my photos.
i feel growth again.

and its awesome

here’s some color and black and white frames from this past weekend as we drove 12 hours in one day chasing the waves and the sights.
