Malibu Engagement // Nancy + DJ

we wanted to escape the sunny Los Angeles weather. sometimes always shooting in an urban setting gets a little tiresome. trekking up to the mountains for this malibu engagement was a perfect break of pace with some of the sweetest of people. getting to know nancy and dj as we hiked the hills was a perfect way to become friends and get intimate with each other while taking photos of their love.

i can’t wait for their wedding at the Smog Shoppe in Culver City coming up in March. Its going to be a good one.

Los Angeles Engagement // Ashley + Ryan

here’s to these two for letting me follow them around their neighborhood on their little date in their neighborhood in downtown LA. shooting in Los Angeles is always a treat, but getting to eat at a sweet little diner makes it even more delicious.
and i’ve had the chance to shoot on a few different rooftops in la, but had never had the chance at shooting on a fire escape… and i’m all about it.

their wedding at the hudson loft in april is gonna be too much fun!
I can’t wait to be a part of it.

Los Angeles Engagement | Sasha + Charlie

What can I say about Sasha and Charlie that you can’t tell from the photos below? They’re amazingly kind, they’ve got a heart for good design and style, and they REALLY like each other. we decided to explore the Arts District for this Los Angeles engagement.

We found lots of cool street art, some good coffee and we found some nice light and shadows.

I can’t wait for their wedding at the Millwork later this month in LA. I’m honored that I get to be a part of their day and tell their story with my eye.
Its gone be wild.

Cyndi + Sean // Joshua Tree Engagement

When Cyndi and Sean told me that they wanted to do a Joshua Tree engagement I wasn’t mad about it. Getting to escape the city to explore a location you’ve only been to a few times is so worth it. And getting to explore with a few of your new friends is even better.

Getting to know Cyndi and Sean was crucial for these photos because it really helped us forget that we were even taking engagement photos and enabled us to start capturing their real personalities rather than standard engagement photos. And I’m all about the emotion.

Yosemite Engagement | Olivia + Levi

so glad i’m getting a chance to share these Yosemite engagement photos with olivia and levi.
really glad they were so adventurous and wanted to drive the 7 hours to get to the valley floor at sunset. it was worth is and dang near legit. these two are some of my besties and I’m thrilled that I got to capture their joy and playfulness with one another.
