just under two weeks ago, my life changed for the better.

i married my best friend.

our corona wedding day was perfect, as we were surrounded by our best and closest family and friends.
thanks to everyone who made our day such a memorable thing. we’ll be looking back on it and smiling for years to come.

here’s a preview from the day. i’m the one on the left.

photo credit goes to the amazing kayla adams.

i’m excited to share this fun little documentary style portrait session with you all.

meet wend. a local southern california artist, his artistic style is one to be remembered. his quirky ‘cheeky old man’ and animal characters are fantastic additions to the art community here and i cant wait to see where the future takes him and his art.

he asked me to tag along with him and capture the creation of one of his quirky murals in order to promote his kickstarter that is raising money for him and his team to travel to chile in order to give back to the tsunami-wrecked community while painting murals in order to bring some color back to their broken homes.

please feel free to check out his kickstarter project by clicking HERE and donate to his cause. but before you do that, take a gander below and check out his process as he paints this larger than life ‘running-bison.’

also, follow him on INSTAGRAM for more up to date work, sketchings, a photography musings.

its finally starting to feel like fall here in southern california. the morning air is crisper, socks are now appropriate feet coverings while lounging around the house, and daily routines seem a bit more thought-felt and meaningful with this changing season.
things are slowing down slightly as i prepare myself to be married to the gal of my dreams at the end of this week.
so, in case i dont get a chance to post here before friday, have a lovely few weeks and i’ll have plenty of more weddings to satisfy your eyes with towards the end of november.

cheers.

this past year we’ve had the chance to meet some amazing people. its amazing how clients will come to us as complete strangers and when all is said and done, we are celebrating their wedding day with them as close friends.
kaitlin and kurt were two of those strangers where we instantly knew that they would easily become our friends and that we would keep in touch long after their clarke estate wedding.
this los angeles engagement session took us through the quaint little streets of their humble abode to the griffith observatory. the way kaitlin and kurt love each other and laugh with each other, its something that a camera can only partially capture. *thumbs up you guys for being awesome*

the following photos are only the beginning…because we get to shoot their wedding…unfortunately we have to twiddle our thumbs until next april for their happy day.

happy monday.
